Tarry Upshaw, REDA Regional Elite Development Academy)
Tarry Upshaw holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Ashwood University in Humble, Texas, USA. He has coached at every level of basketball from amateur to professional and is a Coaching Certification Master Instructor for Hong Kong Basketball Association Level 1 through to level 5. Tarry has served as Head Coach/ Assistant MDP- JDP Coach for Basketball Ontario for 5 years. He served 6 years as an assistant Coach at the University of Guelph and York University in Ontario and 7 years as Head Coach of Georgian College in Barrie. During this time Tarry also coached overseas for the Hong Kong National Team in Hong Kong, China, as an Assistant Coach/ Consultant and professionally as Head Basketball Coach Club Skattilgrimur Borganes, Iceland, as an Assistant Coach for Sageese Basketball Club Beruit, Lebanon and Head Basketball Coach/ General Manager the Barrie Bandits of the Ontario Professional Basketball Association in Barrie Ontario. Most recently Tarry was Assistant Coach of Canada Basketball's National Elite Development Academy (NEDA) program in Hamilton ON and is currently the Head Coach and the creator of the Regional Elite Development Academy (REDA) in Hamilton, Ontario.
